Its currently impossible to recover standing once you pass the point of no return. This is because of what I suspect to be a bug.
To do missions with friendly corps, you need -2 standing or higher with corp **OR** faction
To do the same with hostile corps, you need corp ***AND*** faction. You can never get faction therefore even if you have +10 covonant standing, your -ve blood raider faction will prevent you from doing anything.
You can gain corp standing by completing missions as a gang. You can never gain faction stadnings, so untill CCP put hostile corps in the same agent logic as friendly ones, you might have to use a alt.

Can you not gain faction standing s from storyline gang missions?
Nope. Unless you can bring your faction over -2, the "corp OR faction" will remain as "corp AND faction" thus be impossible for you to ever use any agent. I know +10 Blood standing people who cannot use agents as they have negitive faction from shooting blood rats etc etc.

you CANT work for the blood raiders you kill.. so the standings to them is irrelavant.
the bloodraider corp is different from blood raider faction and needs other standings.
like True Sansha... cant work for them. you can work for a corp called True Power(i think it was called) what is a sansha corp.
the NPC you kill in belts are pirats... the corps are not associated whit pirats directly
ONLY if your FACTION standing is above -2. I do not know if it is a bug. But if you read the thread, you need both sets of standings isnted of just one. Once you are above -2, you can use either standing. So it could be a strange bug. Who knows.
And before you say "Proof or STFU", check my standings. I have positive blood corp standings and nevetive faction. And I can never do missions for Blood raiders even if I wanted to waste time with them. They are reagarded as probebly the worst faction in the whole of eve to do missions for.

Belt rats reduce faction. Even if you are in the same gang on same grid and a gangmate kills it. So if you want to do missions in a NPC region, then you cannot kill rats there.
